Brain Damage

If that was your first time watching that trailer, let me tell you how excited I am to be bringing you this article today! This movie is CHOCK FULL of drugs (the kind you squirt in your brain), innuendo, and literally a blue alien dick/worm. He's a worm. But... he's a dick, tho. My first time watching this movie I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Pretty quickly, the film introduces not only the dick, but this is an intelligent dick. He's a manipulator and you should've seen those red flags.

Frank Henenlotter and an unusally shaped pat of clay.
Frank Henenlotter

This film was released in 1988 and was poorly received. We really should've rolled out the red carpet for this one, but alas. This masterpiece was both written and directed by none other than the famed Frank Henenlotter, who had found great success only a few years before with his movie Basket Case.

Looks like you've got a dick comin' out your face, dude.
Rick Hearst as Brian

Rick Hearst stepped out from this film and left science fiction behind him, going on to be cast in daytime television shows General Hospital and The Young and the Restless.

I'm sure you're wondering what the deal is with the blue alien dick thing, right? I mean, come on...

Aylmer entices Brian to try a special drug only Aylmer can produce; a glowing blue liquid shot directly into the brain that produces a euphoria Brian can't resist... or can he?
